- Religious Marriage Certificate;

How to obtain a stable union visa for foreigners in Brazil
The stable union visa is recognized as a type of family reunion visa. The application must be requested at the National Immigration Council, where the applicant must go with the necessary documents in hand. However, applicants that are unable to attend the Council themselves may appoint a representative to submit the application.

Documents required to apply for the stable union visa for foreigners in Brazil
The documents required for applying for the stable union visa for foreigners in Brazil according to the Ministry of Justice website are:
- Application made through an electronic form duly completed on the Federal Police website (available at Obtain Residence Permit);
- 1 (one) 3×4 photo, recent, color, white background, plain paper, looking forward (if the Federal Police’s biometric data collection system is unavailable, attendance may be required);
- Declaration of electronic address and other means of contact, preferably accompanied by a simple copy of proof of residence;
- Travel document or official identity document;
- Criminal background certificates or equivalent documents issued by the competent judicial authority where you have resided in the last five years;
- Declaration, under penalty of law, of the absence of a criminal record in any country;
- Birth or marriage certificate to prove the relationship between the applicant and the Brazilian or immigrant beneficiary of a residence permit, or a valid document that proves the bond;
- Identity document of the Brazilian or immigrant beneficiary of a residence permit, with which the applicant wishes to meet;
- Proof of the stable union relationship between the applicant and the Brazilian or immigrant beneficiary of a residence permit (click here);
- Joint declaration of the spouses or partners, under the penalties of the law, regarding the continuity of effective union and coexistence;
- Documents that prove the guardianship, trusteeship, or custody of Brazilian citizenship, when applicable;
